For those of you who only know New Jersey as portrayed in the television series “Jersey Shore”, I’m sorry to break it to you but all that fist pumping and squishing is not really what New Jersey is like.

While you may find some folks who do in fact first pump to raging techno music while wearing cut-off lacrosse jerseys that read “YOLO”, the truth is that New Jersey is not like the Jersey Shore.  At all. Believe it or not, it is quite a lovely place.

Last weekend I was able to take some time to relax in the great garden state. Here are some pictures to prove to all you New Jersey haters that our state is not what you think it is. It is a lovely place.
